Hi There,

It was surpose to be the end of the world? 6pm - 21st May 2011 but NO ... It wasn't thank goodness! I was at the Stunning Golf Resort - Terrace Downs, Canterbury for a Special Presentation on The Space Shuttle Discovery's last Space Mission. The event was hosted by Owner/CEO Jonny Henriksen and the six Astronauts from the last Space Shuttle Discovery's Flight to ISS had all the guests and students from WindWhistle School on the edge of their seats with all the interesting facts on life on the International Space Station {ISS} and about the 8 min Launch into outer space of the Space Shuttle. I managed to get all the Astronauts signatures{cool} I am a total Space Cadet...:)

One of the Crew mentioned that the 16 country operation International Space Station could be seen in the North - West night sky tomorrow night at 6.40pm on Sunday 22nd May. so I went to the Christchurch International Airport to see if I could see it and get a photo of it moving across the sky at 250,000km/per and I did get a cool shot! Check it out.

I have also been lucky enough to have seen 2 space shuttle launches at Cape Canaveral - Kennedy Space Center in the U.S. the first Space Shuttle Atlantis {7th Feb 2001} and then Discovery {26th July 2005} just Awesome!!

It is a bit sad that the NASA Space Shuttle Programme will end this year 2011.

Rise Up Christchurch - CBS Christchurch Arena - Sunday 22nd May 2011 Telethon to Help Canterbury Earthquake Recovery.

Hi There,

I was lucky to be one of the Professional Photographers covering some of the Events and Bands performing at the RISE UP Christchurch Telethon held at CBS Arena, Addington for the Christchurch Earthquake Recovery - The grand total raised was 2.5 Million NZD.

International & local Celebrities such as Rachel Hunter, Mike Mc Roberts, Brooke Horward-Smith, Nicky Watson, Sally Ridge, Daniel Carter and some cool kiwi Bands like Six60, Kids of 88, The Jordan Luck Band, Opshop rocked the crowd at the Christchurch CBS Arena on Sunday 22nd May 2011.

The 12 hour live Global Telethon was broadcasted via Maori Television and Items could be sold & bidded for on www.sella.co.nz.

Its was a Successful Event! and Fonterra came to the party with a cool one Million......

Tai Tapu Hotel Wedding, Christchurch - Tina-Marie & Brendon Wedding, 30th April 2011

Hi There,

It was the day after the Wedding of the Century, Prince William & Catherine's Royal Wedding at Westminster Abby in London, I was Wedding Photographer for Tina-Marie & Brendon's Big Day on the 30th April 2011 at the Tai Tapu Hotel (The Wedding Ceremony was suppose to be held at St Paul's Church, Halswel but after the Earthquake on February 22nd 2011 the Church is now Closed)

Bridal Hair & Make-up by Mariessa Waddington

The Blushing Bride and her entourage arrived in 2 Silver Ford Fairlane's (Regency Cabs) for the 3.30pm Ceremony held outside in the lovely gardens of the Wedding Venue. There was an Awesome Classical Guitarist providing the Music. It was a beautiful day and Marriage Celebrant Mark Barlow officiated the Wedding Service.

After the Wedding Ceremony I arranged a big group photo, then all the family photos were taken before the Bridal Party headed off to do the formal photos.

The Wedding Breakfast & Wedding Reception was also held at the Tai Tapu Hotel. Speeches first then we got a cutting of the cake photo before Dinner was served. Table Centre Pieces & Settings by Acropolis Wedding Hire.

It looked like it was going to be a wonderful evening.
