Christchurch Photographer Dean Norrie has visited more than 50 Countries and was nick named Uncle Travelling Dean - Images Display at C1 Espresso Cafe High St, Christchurch

Hi There,

Yes before I set up Star Photographers Ltd 5 years ago I worked for Cruise Ship Company's ie P&O Princess, Royal Caribbean and Sun Cruises for over 4 years managing the Photography Departments onboard {on some ships there was up to 14 Photographers working at Sea}. Well my Brother Shane Norrie nick named me Uncle Travelling Dean {like Fraggle Rock's Uncle Travelling Matt} and being good friends with Sam Crofskey at C1 Espresso Cafe on High Street, Christchurch I used one of his C1 Stickers and took photos of famous land marks and places, then posting them back to him {Sam framed them and displayed them in his Cafe C1}. The C1 Espresso Cafe is now Closed and still in the red zone due to the Christchurch Earthquake on 22nd February 2011.

Rosemount Estate, Ohoka Weddings, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand - Katrina & Matthew Wedding - 28th January 2012

Hi There,

Katrina & Matthew were married by Marriage Celebrant Mary Mason outside in the lovely gardens at Rosemount Estate 3pm on 28h January 2012.

The Blushing Bride and her entourage arrived fashonibly late in a Silver Chrysler 300C.

After the Wedding Ceremony Star Photographer Dean Norrie got a Group Shot and then the Family Photos before we headed off to Whites Road Reserve, Ohoka to do the Bridal Party Photos.

We also did some more Photos around the stunning gardens of Rosemount before the Reception.

The Wedding Breakfast & Reception was also held at Rosemount Estate.

Mock Cutting of the Cake first then the Speeches before Dinner was Served.

New addition to the Star Photographers Family - Introducing Baby Grace Pamela Norrie Born 15th January 2012

Hi There,

Yes our little Baby Girl was born 11.30am Sunday 14th January 2012 at Christchurch Women's Hospital.

On to Burwood Birthing Unit recovery for 3 nights.

Yes of course, me being me a photographer and proud Father I had to capture the moment.

Delivery by Midwife Dawn Catherwood who was wonderful, helpful and really informative.

The Birth Weight was 7lb.9oz - 50 cm long Beautiful and Healthy!

I really can not put in words the feeling of being a Dad for the first time - its just Awesome!
